9-OCT-2010 -- ST LOUIS - Over 700 cyclists start the Pedal the Cause ride through St Louis. The start of the 700 riders took just about 3 minutes to complete. Pedal the Cause is an annual cycling event that seeks to provide and direct net funding for cancer research, cancer discovery grants and clinical translational care on best ideas not currently eligible for federal funds. With 100% of donations remaining in St. Louis, the event was started by Bill Koman, a St Louis business man and himself a cancer survivor.
